This three-bedroom, one-bathroom house is in a neighborhood south of Interstate 10, within a 15-minute drive of both Culver City and downtown Los Angeles. A public elementary school is three blocks away, and both West Adams and West Jefferson Avenues, nearby major thoroughfares, are lined with shopping and dining options, including a 24-hour hot dog and sandwich stand, a taqueria and a Creole restaurant.
Rancho Cienega Recreation Center, with tennis courts, a pool, and a track, is a five-minute drive. The USC campus takes 15 minutes by car and LAX takes 25.

Indoors: Paved steps lead from the street to the red front door, which opens to the living room. The walls are painted teal with white trim, and original built-in bookshelves flank a gas fireplace with a black tile hearth. On the other side of the living room, through a wide doorway flanked by white columns, is the formal dining room. There’s a pass-through window to the kitchen, which has a white tile backsplash above granite counters.
Two of the three bedrooms are off a hallway from the dining room. The largest faces the street, with three big windows and, like the rest of the house, original hardwood floors. The second bedroom, big enough for a queen-size bed, has wood-paneled walls painted dark green. The bathroom, also off the hall, has a combined tub and shower. This one-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom unit is in Park Wellington, a large building just south of Sunset Boulevard. Nightclubs on the Sunset Strip are within walking distance, as are Mel’s Drive-In and the Comedy Store. The Beverly Center shopping mall takes five minutes by car, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center takes less than 10 minutes. The Grove and The Original Farmer’s Market are both a 10-minute drive.
Studio City is 15 minutes away by car, as are U.C.L.A. and Century City.

Within walking distance are several coffee shops, an outpost of Fat Sal’s, a locally-beloved sandwich shop, and a coffee and doughnut shop owned by the actor Danny Trejo. A Ralphs supermarket is less than a mile away, as is a shopping center with a Target, a Best Buy and a wine store.
The Hollywood/Highland Metro station, a stop on the B Line, is 15 minutes away on foot. By car, the Sunset Strip is a 10-minute drive and downtown Los Angeles is 25 minutes by car.
