Wagner was already an established closer in ‘03, which turned out to be his final season in Houston. And Lidge was a first-round pick of the Astros in 1998 who made his debut in 2002 before his breakout ‘03 season.\n\n“Honestly, I think he was a completely unique teammate, I can say, from anyone I never had in any bullpen,” Lidge said. “He kind of lived and he kind of played baseball like he was a kid that was joyous just to be playing, which is how we should all play but is not the reality of it. Major League Baseball is very stressful, especially if you’re a bullpen pitcher, but he seemed to not feel that stress. He seemed to be playing with house money his whole career.””,”type”:”text”},{“__typename”:”Video”,”contentDate”:”2011-12-14T14:42:15Z”,”preferredPlaybackScenarioURL({\”preferredPlaybacks\”:\”mp4AvcPlayback\”})”:”http://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/2011/12/14/mlbtv_20030443_3gpp_h264_128K.3gp”,”type”:”video”,”description”:”MLB.com takes a look back at Octavio Dotel’s historic pitching career, as he prepares to play for his record-setting 13th Major League club”,”displayAsVideoGif”:false,”duration”:”00:01:24″,”slug”:”dotel-set-to-play-for-13th-team-c20030443″,”tags”:[{“__typename”:”PersonTag”,”slug”:”playerid-136734″,”title”:”Octavio Dotel”,”person”:{“__ref”:”Person:136734″},”type”:”player”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-subject-mlbcom-feature”,”title”:”HBmig MLBCOM_FEATURE”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-subject-mlbmobile-features”,”title”:”HBmig MLBMOBILE_FEATURES”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-mmtax-shareable”,”title”:”HBmig FB shareable (internal)”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-mmtax-embeddable”,”title”:”HBmig Blog embeddable”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-mlbtax-mm-hightlight-reel”,”title”:”HBmig Highlight Reel”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-combined-media-state-media-archive”,”title”:”HBmig MEDIA_ARCHIVE”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”TaxonomyTag”,”slug”:”pitching”,”title”:”pitching”,”type”:”taxonomy”}],”thumbnail”:{“__typename”:”Thumbnail”,”templateUrl”:”https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-images/image/private/{formatInstructions}/mlb/eawphyjplk47j3xbwzxi”},”title”:”Dotel set to play for 13th team”,”relativeSiteUrl”:”/video/dotel-set-to-play-for-13th-team-c20030443″},{“__typename”:”Markdown”,”content”:”The Astros were 21-4 when Lidge, Dotel and Wagner were the final three pitchers in a game in ‘03, with a combined 2.51 ERA in those outings. Dotel struck out four batters in the eighth inning of the Astros’ six-pitcher no-hitter at Yankee Stadium on June 11, 2003.\n\n“He kept everything light-hearted, for sure,” Wagner said. “A lot of times he was going out there in the eighth inning and he would go out there and punch out three guys. He made going out in the ninth a lot easier a lot of the time, just because of his ability to pitch two innings or go pick up an inning here and there and just be so dominating.””,”type”:”text”},{“__typename”:”Video”,”contentDate”:”2003-06-11T23:05:00Z”,”preferredPlaybackScenarioURL({\”preferredPlaybacks\”:\”mp4AvcPlayback\”})”:”http://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/mp4/2018/02/01/1873863883/1517509678583/asset_450K.mp4″,”type”:”video”,”description”:”6/11/03: Astros reliever Octavio Dotel strikes out four Yankees in the bottom of the 8th of the Astros combined no-hitter”,”displayAsVideoGif”:false,”duration”:”00:00:59″,”slug”:”dotel-k-s-four-in-8th-c1873863883″,”tags”:[{“__typename”:”GameTag”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-mlbtax-blooper”,”title”:”HBmig Blooper”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-mmtax-mlbcomwatermark”,”title”:”HBmig MLB.com Watermark”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-subject-mlbmobile-application-highlight”,”title”:”HBmig MLBMOBILE_APPLICATION_HIGHLIGHT”,”type”:”unsupported”},{“__typename”:”InternalTag”,”slug”:”hbmig-home-team-id-147″,”title”:”HBmig home_team_id:…
