Euan Blair pockets £250k – as his tech firm Multiverse axes 55 staff amid
Euan Blair scooped a near-£250,000 payday last year even as his technology firm laid off 55 staff.
The multimillionaire son of former prime minister Tony Blair earned £246,053 at his ‘EdTech’ firm Multiverse, which aims to get young people into apprenticeships.
The pay was disclosed in the company’s annual report for the 12 months to the end of March 2025, which also revealed it had made 55 staff redundant.
‘We are employing slightly fewer people but rewarding them more,’ the report said, noting that while headcount was down 1 per cent, staff costs were up 16 per cent.
Multiverse said losses widened from £60.6million to £63.3million despite a 36.2 per cent rise in sales to £79.6million.
Multiverse, set up by Blair, 41, in 2016, provides training and apprenticeships and was valued at £1.4billion in a 2022 funding round. At the time, Blair’s stake was said to be worth as much as £380million.
